The UMF community is bringing Eve Ensler’s Obie Award winning play, The Vagina Monologues to life, February 22-24. Ensler’s script has been heralded as one of the most important pieces of political theater of the last century and features monologues of women with diverse experiences, including a Bosnian woman who survives rape, a six year old girl, and a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter among others. The show is directed by Gavin Pickering and Mary Ellms and is produced by UMF’s Campus Violence Prevention Coalition. Performances are Feb. 22 and 23 at 7:30pm and Feb 24th at 2pm.
