Peter Harris, from Waterville, is the author of Blue Halleluljahs, which won the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance chapbook competition, and Freeing the Hook (Deerbrook Editions). He has appeared in Atlantic Monthly, Ploughshares, Sewanee Review, and other national magazines. Awarded residencies at the Tyrone Guthrie Center and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, he taught American literature and creative writing for several years at Colby College.
