Carl Little, a native New Yorker, has lived in Somesville since 1989. His poetry has appeared in many journals and anthologies, and in Ocean Drinker: New & Selected Poems. A prolific writer on art and artists, he has published several volumes about the painters of Maine, as well as monographs on Dahlov Ipcar, Beverly Hallam and Wendy Turner. His book Eric Hopkins: Above and Beyond won the John N. Cole Award from the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance.
