Lee Sharkey is the author of Walking Backwards, Calendars of Fire, A Darker, Sweeter String, and eight earlier collections and chapbooks. Her work has been published in Massachusetts Review, Crazyhorse, FIELD, Kenyon Review, Pleiades and several other literary journals. She is the recipient of the Abraham Sutzkever Centennial Translation Prize and a Maine Arts Commission Fellowship in the Literary Arts. She currently serves as the Senior Editor of The Beloit Poetry Journal.
