Patricia Ranzoni has eight books of poetry to her credit, most recently Bedding Vows: Love Poems from Outback Maine. She has also published a workbook for children. Ranzoni considers her background as a “mixed-blood Yankee” whose ancestors were people from “seaboard, woodlands and upriver Maine and Canada” to be her chief credentials as a poet. She has been named as the poet laureate of her home town of Bucksport, a lifetime appointment.
