Join Dawn Nye (Associate Professor of Art and New Media at UMF) for a free photography workshop that will feature: basics of composition, strategies to involve narrative in visual media, and hands-on practice. This workshop is for all levels and will allow participants to turn even the most casual, at-home photos into intriguing narratives while considering how you can tell stories through photography. If possible, please bring a camera or camera phone to this event. Contact erika.rodriguez@maine.edu if you would like to come but will need to borrow a camera.
