Our Mission: The Emery Community Arts Center is a vibrant and versatile arts venue. Our mission is to support community arts and provide University of Maine Farmington students and the residents of western Maine with opportunities to experience an eclectic range of traditional, contemporary and experimental art forms, engage with new ideas, and gain a deeper appreciation for the importance of art in civic life. UMF values diversity and strives to create a welcoming community in which all individuals are respected and included. We welcome engagement and partnerships with community members and groups on arts programming and events that are collaborative, open to the public, and in the spirit of supporting the values of the university.
