Burton-Matthews-Drury Trio Concert

Jill Burton has devoted herself exclusively to the practice of free improvisation since the 1970s. French-born, Madrid-based, American musician Wade Matthews has been deeply involved in electronic music and improvisation since the 1980s. Coming to improvisation from a background in western classical and experimental music, Matthews has led workshops and published extensively on improvisation for orchestral musicians in Spanish, French and English speaking countries. Andrew Drury has played drum set and percussion with a who’s who of world-class artists, both well-known and obscure, in 30 countries and on 70 recordings.
