*Update: “Meet the Artists Among Us” Gallery Talk

Saturday, July 9th from 3:00pm-5:00pm

The Gold LEAF Institute will host a “Meet the Artists Among Us” event on Saturday, July 9th from 3:00-5:00pm at Emery’s Flex Space gallery. During this reception, artists will discuss their artwork and the ideas and processes that motivate their practice. This event is free and open to the public.

The Gold LEAF Institute proudly presents, The Art Among Us 2. This exhibit features the work of 29 artists who are members of the Gold LEAF Institute, the senior college at the University of Maine at Farmington. The exhibit includes a wide variety of work in acrylics, fiber, prints, sketches, photos, wood, glass, and more. Gold LEAF is a member run organization promoting life-long learning.  Membership is open to anyone 50 and older and their spouse/partner regardless of age. Summer term listings can be viewed starting June 1st at www.goldleafinstitute.org. The Art Among Us 2 will be on view in Emery’s Flex Space Gallery from June 17-July 29, 2022. Summer Hours: Mon. – Sat., 10am-5pm. Closed Sundays and holidays. Please check Emery’s website for 4th of July weekend closures.
