Fred Dearnley: New Work

New Work is an exhibition of recent photographs by Fred Dearnley. Dearnley’s photography is a combination of art and science. He originally worked as a marine biologist, with his early photographic work documenting the amazing designs of the microscopic organisms he studied. Over the past few years, he has been experimenting with the interaction of human activity/design with the environment. Through his photography, Dearnley tries to know the world around him at a deeper level. His goal is to express his connection to the world, beyond the pretty flowers and the grand landscape.
