Western Maine’s newest arts and literary magazine, the Rustica Journal, celebrates the publication of its first issue with a roundtable discussion on the risks and rewards of forging community at the meeting-place between art and commerce. Come hear four local makers discuss the successes and setbacks that have shaped their struggle to bring personal vision into public space. With Kristen Case of the Monson Arts Seminar, Chris Knapp of the Maine Local Living School, Josh Billing and Jesse Lundquist of the Rustica Journal, and Horisun Antune of Beavermoth. Rustica launch party to follow at 8pm at Twice Sold Tales in Farmington.
