The Emery Community Arts Center is a vibrant and versatile arts venue at the University of Maine Farmington. Our mission is to support community arts and provide UMF students and the residents of western Maine with opportunities to experience an eclectic range of traditional, contemporary and experimental art forms, engage with new ideas, and gain a deeper appreciation for the importance of art in civic life. Art exhibitions, concerts, theatrical performances, poetry readings and other events feature artists and creatives from near and far. Our facility opened in 2011, and was named in honor of Ted and Marguerite Emery, arts enthusiasts and long-time Farmington residents.
