This Friday, the Couch Jam Online Concert Series presents a double-feature performance event with Draudiga and No Coffee! Emery’s online concert series showcases Farmington’s local music scene with performances recorded in the homes of local musicians and brought straight to you through our website. The show goes “live” on Friday, July 24th at 7:00pm.
Draudiga is the solo music project of Reesa Wood. Reesa creates odes to the mystical realms of human experience using voice, guitar, drum machine, and keys. Her music has been described as “ethereal post-punk”.
Reesa is best known for her work as the vocalist in Maine noise rock/ metal band Cadaverette, and was also the vocalist of shoegaze quintet Burr.
No Coffee is a musician/performer working with flute voice, guitar, live processing, and sampled sound. His works involve themes including modernization, interaction, introspection, and the subjective human experience. He holds a degree in performing arts from the University of Maine, Farmington.
While our UMF campus arts venue remains closed, Emery Community Arts Center strives to continue its role as a space to honor, exhibit, and support the artistic and creative force in our local community and beyond. We look forward to launching new exhibitions and arts programming online through our website and social media.
