Emergency Notifications Change

Effective August 23, 2019, all faculty, staff, and enrolled students will be automatically registered to receive emergency notifications at their @maine.edu email address and by text message if a cell phone number is recorded in MaineStreet.  You may opt out of notifications at any time by going to MyCampus Portal and selecting “Manage Emergency Notifications” from the LaunchPad.

More detailed information is available at The Emergency Notification Alert System Confluence page.

Campus Solutions 9.2 Upgrade

The MaineStreet Campus Solutions upgrade project was successfully completed on June 11, 2019. The project upgraded the Campus Solutions system from version 9.0 to the current version 9.2 and migrated the system’s environment from the legacy Sun/Solaris platform to the current Intel/Linux architecture. The primary purpose of the upgrade was to stabilize and improve MaineStreet navigability and to pave the way towards building a more contemporary student information system.

The upgrade project kicked off in October 2018 and was successful largely thanks to the tremendous combined efforts of US:IT technical staff, campus student administrative offices, and over 200 User Acceptance Testing (UAT) participants.

Prior to logging into the upgraded Campus Solutions for the first time, it is important to clear the browser’s cache. In some cases, along with clearing the browser cache, it might be necessary to restart your computer. Documentation about clearing browser cache is available at: Clearing Browser Cache Info.

For more information about the project and access to a job aid and navigation video, please go to the Campus Solutions 9.2 Upgrade Confluence page.
