Upcoming 2023 UMS IT Summit

The UMS IT Staff Summit is back! Our last in-person Staff Summit took place in 2019. Since then, we’ve participated in some very engaging virtual Summits but will have the opportunity to gather together once again on June 9 at the UMaine Campus in Wells Common.

Planning for the Summit is currently underway. The Summit agenda includes an update on TeamDynamix module implementations, Professional Development reporting, an Information Security presentation, and much more. On-site campus tours will also be conducted with opportunities to view the School of Engineering (Ferland Building), Advanced Structures and Composites Center, and the Data Center Operations office.

Nominations will be opening soon for the CIO Award, Extra Mile Award, and Team Impact Award. The winners will be announced at the 2023 UMS IT Summit. This is an opportunity to let your colleagues know how much you value their work and dedication. Is there someone you appreciate who deserves special recognition? Staff will also be celebrated and recognized for their Years of Service to the University.
